Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actress most commonly known for her character Bo from the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk is an actress from Canada who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay who is producer and director of drama at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Her father, Peter is an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna was a child and watched her mother working and going to practice sessions for plays. Silk created a variety of commercials when she was still in the midst of her childhood. Her Bachelor of Arts was conferred by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged two plays in the early years: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk moved out of Toronto and moved to Los Angeles in the decade that followed 1999. Silk met her spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an actor's training located in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple got engaged in 2009, and were married at a civil wedding ceremony in the month of December in that same year. In Fredericton on April 10, 2011, they renewed vows after her decision to convert to Judaism. Silk Cooperman had her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron was her second born child on the 13th of May 2016. Silk is known for her role on television in the role of Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009 she was nominated by for the Gemini Awards. In 2009, she was cast in the principal character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian TV show Lost Girl. Silk announced to her fans that she was expecting a baby in January 2013 at an episode of Showcase Season Three Special. Silk is working on Lost Girl since the final season episode was conceived on January 6, 2013 on Twitter, announced her readiness to return on the 4th of June 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on fourth season. The CNN Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite TV Couples. E! named them the Top Television Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. As a result of the popularity of the show, Silk has gained a large online following on social media.
